Deposits
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon registration to hold your place in a course. Courses must be paid in full one week before the course start date.  Failure to make your final payment by the one-week deadline may result in the loss of your place in the course.

Cancellations
HomeGrown HideAways reserves the right to cancel classes due to inadequate enrollment and other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation, we will fully refund all payments, including deposits. If you cancel your enrollment from a class at least two weeks prior to class start date, we will refund all payments, less the deposit. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the two week deadline.

Class Transfers
A $25 fee to transfer to one class from another is charged if the transfer occurs at least two weeks prior to the start of the class from which you are transferring.  If transferring from one course to another less than two weeks before the start date of the course from which you are transferring, the original deposit will be forfeited. The remainder will be held as credit which can be applied to another class.

Insurance
Students enrolled in courses involving hands-on site or shop work must have major medical insurance coverage in effect for the duration of the course. All students must fill out an Emergency Contact Form and Hold Harmelss Agreement prior to the course start.

Age
Workshops are designed for students 18 years of age and older. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Camping
Tent camping is available free of charge to students enrolled in a workshop. Family or friends visiting with the enrolled student will be charged $5 each/night. RV hook-ups are available for an additional $10/night. Please keep in mind that we only have water and electric, no dump station. We are pleased to offer a fully equipped bath house, complete with hot showers and flush toilets. Campfires must be contained to designated areas.

Meals
Lunch will be provided to enrolled students. Family or friends that wish to join us will be charged $10 each. Please let us know of any food allergies prior to enrollment. We are working on making our concession stand available for cooking in the near future, but please plan to be self-contained at this time. We encourage visitors to check out some of the local cafes and restaurants in Berea for breakfast and dinner. Just ask!

Pets
Pets are not allowed at HomeGrown HideAways, unless you are staying in an RV and the pets are confined within. Please leave your pets at home or we recommend Durham Kennels, a boarding facility less than eight miles from our farm.

Smoking
No smoking is allowed inside the buildings or within 50 feet of any building, vehicle, or jobsite. Cigarette butts MUST be disposed of in appropriate containers.

Drugs and Alcohol
Doctor prescribed medications are allowed, but must only be taken as prescribed. Illegal drugs of any kind are prohibited. For safety, alcohol may not be consumed during workshop hours. Anyone suspected of being under the influence, will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return for any future workshops.
