Eco-Friendly Camping, Events, & Workshops
Welcome Home!
HomeGrown HideAways is a 100 acre farm located 11 miles from Berea, Ky in the hills of Red Lick Valley. We offer an ecological retreat for folks interested sustainability, conservation, and the beauty of the natural environment.
We have RV hook-ups that are powered by captured landfill gas and our bath house employs energy & water conservation features such as low-flow shower heads, compact flourescent lighting, and a water heater blanket for our hot showers. Our goal is to eventually install solar electric and hot water, but for the time being, we are working with what we have available.
For entertainment, we have hiking trails, bird-watching, mushroom hunting, a nearby reservoir for fishing & swimming, campfire cooking, star-gazing, and a pool table. What we do not have: cell phone service, internet, or television.
